Worst experience at Marriott and...

Liked: Upon arrival to my room at 1AM was driving from PA for a softball tournament, staff was friendly. The room smelled so bad like a mixture of cigarette smoke and a dead animal plus the microwave did not work. We were told the pool wasn’t working and the washer machine was out of order. My daughter and I were exhausted so we waited until the morning to make a complaint. We were accommodated by switching rooms but we had to wait several hours because the first room they tried to give us also had a weird foul smell and did not have a stand up shower. The second room was much smaller and again did not have stand up shower. Finally I picked a room due to the door being open to make sure it didn’t have a foul smell. I was willing to move to a different floor but staff thought it best that I stay on the same floor. I was in communication with the front desk and they were very nice. The room we ended staying in had ants. At this point, I was fed up and took pictures. I wasn’t going to change rooms again. I just made sure we didn’t leave anything on the floor.
Disliked: Pool out of order, washer out of order, foul smell in fourth floor

Liked: Good breakfast and very accommodating and friendly staff.
Disliked: Air was stuffy and humid in hallways.

Exceptional

The staff were extremely friendly....

Liked: Was is a well lite and nice area.
Disliked: The door to the balcony wouldn’t lock. There was a spoon taped to the smoke detector. Had to call to get the tv pulled back up. Most of all the pool was disgusting. There was a film over it with bubbles on top of the water. The pull out sofa is not a bed with a mattress just pillowed from the couch.
