Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Convention Center

Liked: Comfortable.
Disliked: The price was not what I was told from this booking. Quoted 172 with taxes, was charged 230 with taxes. Major disappointment.

Facility was very nice.

Liked: Convenient location.
Disliked: Housekeeping left a window cracked and at 5:00 am, it was like being parked at a truck stop with noise.

It would have been nice for the mini refrigerator be placed higher off the ground. The digital clock was very bright and was annoying even when my eyes were closed. I don't recall seeing an overhead sign or wall mounted sign that directed patrons to where the ice machine was located. Luckily, I was able to ask one of the housekeeping personnel where it was. If it was labelled, it wasn't marked well so that patrons could clearly know where the ice machine/drink refreshments were located. The night light switches were a nice feature.

Liked: The valet attendents were prompt and personable, as were the front desk clerks. It was really nice for them to accommodate me when the hotel shuttle was completely booked, for them to arrange a taxi service to be charged at their end for me to get to my end point destination!
Disliked: There was only one sink with very small counter space! The mattress was rather "whimpy" and not very comfortable.

Liked: The staff at the front desk and bar were very nice and friendly. Made our trip even better!

Very clean; people were very friendly.

I would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly staff at the front desk, check in went well. Our room was clean and cool and comfortable. The shower was a 'good' one. The grounds were nice and the lobby well tended. Our dinner was delicious and served with flair. We loved our stay at the Marriott Portland Lloyd Center and will return again.
