Very clean; very nice.

Liked: I stayed at the Wyndham on two different occasions in one week. If I hadn't enjoyed the first stay, I would not have gone for the second! The hotel is beautiful, easy to get around in, and the Bridges restaurant is amazing - great menu, delicious food. The hotel and restaurant staff were both welcoming and professional. We took a shuttle to Carnegie for a concert - the drive was extremely helpful and friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable stay in a good...

Liked: The room was spacious, with enough room to work at the desk and to walk around. For visiting CMU and Pitt, as well as other attractions in Oakland, the location was excellent. The staff were uniformly helpful and pleasant.
Disliked: A rowing maching in the fitness room would have been nice, along with an espresso machine instead of the drip coffee magine in the room (I'm from Melbourne, world capital of coffee snobs).

Disliked: The pool was not heated and cold. I did not like the lack of breakfast items in the mornings.

Good location for business travel

Liked: Room was ok, nice bed, nice sheets, good location in proximity to CMU
Disliked: High prices for a "city hotel". The room was connected to another room, so I could hear the entire 6h phone conversation the other guest was having loudly in the middle of the night. Breakfast was paid, but small portions. Restaurant didn't let me eat a sandwich at a table despite buying a Margarita there, they told me to go away.
