Joy, visiting Carnegie Music Hall
Very clean; very nice.
Liked: I stayed at the Wyndham on two different occasions in one week. If I hadn't enjoyed the first stay, I would not have gone for the second! The hotel is beautiful, easy to get around in, and the Bridges restaurant is amazing - great menu, delicious food. The hotel and restaurant staff were both welcoming and professional. We took a shuttle to Carnegie for a concert - the drive was extremely helpful and friendly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Liked: The hotel’s location
Disliked: We booked a room that included breakfast. To our surprise, breakfast was served in the hotel’s restaurant via vouchers, from a very limited set menu. And unbelievably, we could choose either coffee or orange juice. Either… or…! I have never seen anything so petty in my life.The experience was so unpleasant that we skipped breakfast and requested a refund. However, the receptionist did not return the full amount we paid. For three breakfasts, we were refunded $45, while the total cost was €51.The only positive aspect was the hotel’s location. Otherwise, this was one of the most disappointing stays We’ve ever had. Tip for future guests: Skip the breakfast included in the booking. Pay about $18 on the spot, and you can get both coffee ☕ and juice

Disliked: The room was humid, odorous slightly mildew. The AC didn’t remove humidity. The ac unit also blew very hard on us. I really didn’t like the room because of this. I’m not sure what could have been done to fix, so I did not complain. I will never come back.

beautiful hotel in a perfect...
Liked: I went down with my son for his first college visit and we needed something close to alumni hall. This hotel was right next door!! perfect location, perfect parking situation, beautiful hotel with everything we needed and more!

Comfortable stay in a good...
Liked: The room was spacious, with enough room to work at the desk and to walk around. For visiting CMU and Pitt, as well as other attractions in Oakland, the location was excellent. The staff were uniformly helpful and pleasant.
Disliked: A rowing maching in the fitness room would have been nice, along with an espresso machine instead of the drip coffee magine in the room (I'm from Melbourne, world capital of coffee snobs).
