Perfect stay in Palm Springs

Liked: Was a fantastic stay at the Marriott. So close to the main shopping area but far enough to be very quiet. The pool was an excellent addition especially as it was super hot the day we stayed. Great parking and easy access to the room. Also a Starbucks on site. I would recommend a stay here with a family. Palm Springs is an excellent destination with a lot to offer, we will be back.

Room was very good but...

Liked: The hotel and room were very good but the included breakfast was very bad. Very few options for breakfast and the restaurant staff were very bad. I don’t recommend using their included breakfast at all

Liked: We never got room service. That was disappointing.

Adequate room, friendly desk clerk,...

Liked: The desk clerk, Rory, was very friendly and the room was perfectly fine. However, the food in the bistro was exceptionally disappointing. The side salad was just arugula with a vinaigrette. Nothing else and if you don’t like arugula…. The burger was terribly overcooked and was literally inedible. It was obvious that we did not eat much food but no one asked if our food was ok. We decided to go for a night swim and the hot tub was cold which was also disappointing.

Pleasant stay in an excellent...

Liked: Great location, good lighting for a hotel and well set up to read or do work.
Disliked: Temperature control wasn't easy to manage, not enough of a pillow selection, and I miss the days when breakfast was simpler but included. The bistro was kind of depressing and expensive though the food was good. I should have checked on parking fees, since that and breakfast charges really added up
