I'll be back to this location; the proximity to the Starline Social Club was very easy to navigate to and from.
Liked: The staff were great to talk to about all the amenities nearby. They really love their city.

All of the staff was very helpful and prompt. We would definitely stay there again.

It worked well for me and my wife. Nothing negative to say except the parking was a bit expensive but not unusual in a downtown environment.
Liked: Clean room; comfortable bed.
Disliked: Slow phones.
Kathi, El Dorado, visiting Fox Theater Oakland
Liked: Nice staff; comfy bed; nice walk to the Fox Theater, both before and after the concert.
Disliked: Black stains on the carpet; hole from a high powered pellet gun (I hope) in the window of our 3rd floor room.

Good
Liked: Friendly staff, location, comfortable beds.
Disliked: Unfortunately there was a power outage from 7:30-10:30ish on a Sat night so we went to sleep early rather than enjoy tv, streaming etc. property should have backup generator! This is the Bay Area—fires, quakes & random Sat nite mayhem.

THE BED IS COMFY, I...
Liked: my wife had her spleen and half of her Pancreas removed that afternoon due to CANCER. that evening I was told they would be bringing a sleeper couch in her room so the hotel was no longer needed plus I could not get in the room with that KEY. so, i was going to be staying in the hospital for FREE but I had to buy my own meals in the hospital cafeteria. PRAISR GOD ... my wife is CANCER FREE now. we were in Oakland for 6 days and taken R.T. BY their Keiser Ambulance services ... they were very helpful.
Disliked: A DOOR KEY THAT OPENS THE DOOR ... I HAD TO GET THE ASSISTANT FRONT DESK CLERKTO UNLOCK MY BEDROOM DOOR TWICE AND I STILL HAVE THE 2 KEY CARDS IN MY POSSESSION. DO YOU WANT ME TO U.S. MAIL THEM BACK TO YOU, IF SO, I NEED WHERE TO MAIL THEM BACK TO THE HOTEL IN OAKLAND.
