Enjoyed my stay greatly

Disliked: If I could give this dump less than a star I would. I book this hotel more than a year ago and I am a bonvoy member. Our room is in the basement next to the employee lounge and laundry room. The fragrance in the room is so strong I had a headache last night. The room had dirty towels in it, socks under the bed and a broken coffee pot. When I complained I was told that courtyard is the lowest on the chain of the marriot line and there was nothing the manager could do to change my room. When I called marriot bonvoy they told me to talk to the manager. Has Marriott gotten so big that the brand is now that of a motel 6? I have stayed at Marriott’s all over the world. I don’t think I will again. Marriott you lost a family of good customers.

Liked: Did not take advantage of breakfast. I liked the size and spaciousness of room with king bed and privacy for guest staying in the suite. Plenty of counter space with extra space for coffee and the second sink. We had a small balcony i wish the weather was warmer to take advantage, but still a nice feature to have outside space.
Disliked: Noise from highway, room faced renovations and highway but we weren't in the room long enough to request a change.
