Good space but poor staff.
Liked: The building itself is renovated/newer. Its fairly clean, small but looks well put together.
Disliked: I was there Monday to Friday and not once did my room get cleaned. No one came to make the bed or take away dirty towels. On day 3 we had asked to change our towels for fresh ones, the dirty towels were all put together in a pile and it was left there on the floor with new ones just tossed onto the counter. The cleaning staff although friendly, didn’t speak a word of english so when I asked a question upon checking out they couldn’t understand me. The whole front desk staff was unknowledgeable and so young, there’s nothing wrong with staff being young as long as they can provide good customer service which they did not. No one knew about transportation into the city, couldn’t advise where to go to catch public transit, or where to park because valet was always full. Even after the fact I got billed additional charges for something called “enhanced wifi” when booking.com and the Courtyard by Marriott website promotes this location to have free wifi. Overall, the building itself was relatively clean and nice but the poor staff and customer service made my stay terrible. Honestly will never stay here again just because of how the staff do their job. In a hospitality environment, good customer service is crucial and this was a very bad experience.

Never made it to my...
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: I never made it to my room. The room key generator was broken and had to wait in the lobby along with 8 other people for the maintenance person to arrive to take us all to our rooms to let us in. Already I wasn't to keen on not access to getting in and out of my room. When the maintenance person arrived he pressed the button on one of the only working elevator of 2 and we all stared at the floor indicator for 10 minutes until it started flashing OUT OF SERVICE. At that point I asked if I could cancel my stay, without any penalties and they agreed but refused to give me paperwork showing the cancelation of my credit card charge. It took days, but it eventually was taken off. The manager was kind but extremely vague with her answers. Their parking fee is over prices, it's cheaper to park in most garages in NYC.. it's, Fresh Meadow and the valet guy was non-existence. Great location, untrained staff using unreliable equipment reluctant and fearful to answer simple questions and sketchy elevators.
