Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Upper East Side

Great place to stay. Very secure place. People are courteous and generous. Definitely will stay again.

Liked: Clean; friendly staff; located close to tourist attractions.

Very good

Liked: The staff was nice and always acknowledging guests. The gym was good and happy it was opened 24/7. The free beverages in the lobby were appreciated.
Disliked: Room location should have been corner room given that I was staying six nights and requested. Plus, the price paid was too much for such a small room near the elevators.

Disliked: The location, some staff were not friendly or helpful and the AC broke the first night. Not only did the staff not tell us, they made it seem like it was just in one room. Then we learned from other guests that the AC was out in the entire building and no idea when it would be fixed. We were scheduled to stay 4 nights but found another hotel that was cheaper, and only stayed one night. Hopefully, Booking will do the right thing and refund my money for the other three nights since I made them directly and not hotel.

Only option in UES

Liked: It’s the least expensive option on the UES. The rooms are updated but construction is ongoing and the elevator is slow due to having one reserved for workers.
Disliked: There is no breakfast, only free coffee in the lobby.

Exceptional

Very good

Liked: Very helpful to have a laundry room downstairs.
Disliked: Crazy high price for a three star hotel.

I would stay here again
