Liked: I have never stayed in a cleaner room. Every corner was impeccably clean. And the cleaning staff was lovable. Very sweet and accommodating.

Maddening of the amount of...

Liked: The room itself had a fantastic layout and would have been perfect for a 3 week stay recovering from surgery that I have coming up in NYC.
Disliked: Neighbors were loud. Doors closing were loud. To the point where I was on the phone and my friend thought other people were talking in my room and coming in and out of my room. Out of the multiple staff I spoke with, only housekeeping was nice. I get it that it’s NYC, but it’s also hospitality. It was a $500/night room at the Marriot but felt like a Motel 6. Highly unsatisfied.

Great location - very soft...

Liked: Perfect location for me near family on upper east side very close to the river
Disliked: The mattress! I slept on the floor the entire stay. I spoke several times with staff at reception. They offered to try a board under the mattress but despite my multiple requests, it never came and my entire stay I slept on the floor. Not one word from management about that. Very disappointing

Definitely a great place to...

Liked: Clean and QUIET! We were surprised to hear very little outside traffic noise or sound from in the hotel. Room had plenty of light also!
Disliked: Only real negative was no night light in the bathroom. It would be very nice to not be exposed to blinding light when using the bathroom in the middle of the night.
