Hotel has a great location within walking distance to many sights, restaurants and theaters. They have a delicious breakfast and helpful, friendly staff.

Liked: The front desk registration staff were friendly and very service oriented. One person who stands out is Kim. She insured we were being taken care of.
Disliked: Housekeeping services. I requested fresh towels, etc. in the morning prior to leaving the hotel for the day. At 3:30 pm when I returned there were still no clean towels etc.

Courtyard by Marriott was OK,...

Liked: The view of the city from our room was amazing.The wait times for an elevator were very short.Valet parking was great.Great location in mid town Manhattan.
Disliked: Our $250. per night room was not much bigger than a large closet. There was no where to sit in the room. Only a desk chair and the bed.Several times during our 3 day stay the lobby had a foul odor. Like rotting meat. Just putrid.

Liked: The location was very good, in the Theatre district, many subway stations, walkable distance to a few attractions, good places to have breakfast and coffee. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The view was amazing from the 29th floor. There are enough elevators to use even when more people are in the lobby.
Disliked: The ventilation system might be noisy for some people but during the night we sometimes stayed with the window open and was ok. Also, some works in the neighbourhood might be disturbing for late morning people but this is all over Manhattan as there are a lot of construction and renovation in place.

Frustrated and disappointed

Liked: I never expected such a large hotel chain would charge us twice by moving us to another hotel and then fail to process the promised refund. After more than a month of repeated emails and calls, we still haven’t received our money back. This feels like a scam. I have lost all trust in this hotel and would never recommend it to anyone!

Enjoyable stay in a well...

Liked: The location is excellent, near the subway station, lots of restaurants and shops in the area, walking distance to Times Square, Central Park and many touristic areas. The room is modern, comfortable, decent views, good amenities. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Disliked: There is no kettle in the room. Mineral waters are for purchase, not complimentary. There was loud construction noise in the morning (I think from some road works). Access to the breakfast lounge is through separate lifts (apparently there are two hotels in the same building I think) which is a little confusing.
