Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Central Park

Hotel has a great location within walking distance to many sights, restaurants and theaters. They have a delicious breakfast and helpful, friendly staff.

Liked: The front desk registration staff were friendly and very service oriented. One person who stands out is Kim. She insured we were being taken care of.
Disliked: Housekeeping services. I requested fresh towels, etc. in the morning prior to leaving the hotel for the day. At 3:30 pm when I returned there were still no clean towels etc.

Outdated accommodation in a great...

Liked: Location was excellent. A close walk to Central Park, Times Square, and subway stations. The hotel lobby was nice and they had fresh water available in the lobby.
Disliked: Outdated extremely small room at a significant price. The rug was grimy with all the years of NYC traffic. I didn’t feel comfortable walking in the room without shoes on. The sheets and towels were old and threadbare. There was only one very small shelf way above the tiny closet on which to put a few clothes. Only one of us could unpack our suitcase. The only place to put our small suitcases was under the tiny desk. The room simply couldn’t accommodate larger luggage. It was an awkward small space. The view was nothing to write home about. But we made it work. It was in a great location which made up for the room deficiencies.

Disliked: Room is smallCoffee machine had mold Every time the cleaner cleaned the room from 6 capsules she only put 1 coffee, the rest were decaff or tea, so me and my wife couldn't both have coffee. Even though I told the front desk about it, the behavior didn't change. There was construction work going on all the week we were there so spending time in the room was horrible because of the noise I told them my wife has a birthday and they didn't even send a happy birthday noteAll the streaming apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime reset at least once a day so I had to re-signin MANY MANY timesShower wasn't sealed well so the water kept flooding the bathroom
