When we arrived we were told there was valet parking - not to worry about our car. As we were leaving we got a surprise with a $34 charge for valet parking. This should have been told to us up front. Then they came out and said well it's on our website and you should have read it. We looked on our confirmation - nothing about a charge for valet parking. The people were very rude - no help whatsoever. This could have been avoided. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room was OK. It appeared to have been occupied after it was cleaned however, or it was not cleaned after the last occupant left. The hotel was under renovation at the time, which was not too convenient. But for the price that I paid for one night, it seemed sensless to have to pay for breakfast the next morning.

Liked: Within walking distance of Bridgestone Arena.
Disliked: No complimentary breakfast; under renovation.

I was very happy with my stay and will stay there again. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location was prime and easy to get to. The valet parking was a little expensive but the valets were friendly, polite and very, very helpful.

Liked: Location; staff; large; comfortable room.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff was exceptional and cared about our needs. Hotel within walking distance to Broadway and far enough away that it is quiet. We have stayed here before and will continue to stay even with the higher prices.
Disliked: The price is a little high.

Not great for the price

Liked: Valet company was awesome, expensive, but good.
Disliked: Coffee in the room was terrible and no coffee in the lobby. There is a Starbucks there, but im not a fan. Normal coffee would have been great. Nothing was available before we departed. Door to our room didn't latch properly. Front desk people at night were good, morning lady wasn't very helpful. Our room also was changed from what we booked to a room with beds that were too small for a tall guy. For the higher end price of the room, I was expecting more than we received.
