Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Downtown

When we arrived we were told there was valet parking - not to worry about our car. As we were leaving we got a surprise with a $34 charge for valet parking. This should have been told to us up front. Then they came out and said well it's on our website and you should have read it. We looked on our confirmation - nothing about a charge for valet parking. The people were very rude - no help whatsoever. This could have been avoided. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room was OK. It appeared to have been occupied after it was cleaned however, or it was not cleaned after the last occupant left. The hotel was under renovation at the time, which was not too convenient. But for the price that I paid for one night, it seemed sensless to have to pay for breakfast the next morning.

Liked: Within walking distance of Bridgestone Arena.
Disliked: No complimentary breakfast; under renovation.

I was very happy with my stay and will stay there again. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location was prime and easy to get to. The valet parking was a little expensive but the valets were friendly, polite and very, very helpful.

Liked: Location; staff; large; comfortable room.
Disliked: None.

It was an excellent overnight...

Liked: The location of the room I stayed within the that floor. The location itself, The Courtyard downtown, was the bomb!. 2 and a half blocks from Bridgestone Arena.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great Location just a few minutes to main street downtown. OK for a night or two but wouldn't stay any longer.
