Courtyard by Marriott Monroe Airport

Didn't really stay long enough to give a good review; didn't hang out in lobby or go to the gym. Stayed the night there after watching a concert at the Monroe Civic Center after a 3 hour drive.

Liked: Clean; friendly staff.
Disliked: Water pressure for shower; bed was squeeky; breakfast was expensive.

Nice enough accommodations. Very comfortable bed.

Liked: Room was really nice except for that vent hole in the bathroom floor where you can look down and see water gurgling after you flush.
Disliked: I'm not a cheap person but was flabbergasted to see the hotel actually charges for a box of cereal and coffee in the breakfast area.

Disliked: Well I had no room when we were trying to check in they had rented it to someone else so I had to drive home 2hours back home due to everything being booked for a huge ball tournament ! I’ll NEVER book with y’all again !!!

Disliked: No morning coffee, except for buying. More importantly, the A/C unit in room 301 has a loud vi ration which is continuous while unorganized runs. Sleep is virtually impossible. Told staff at front desk during checkout, didn't seemed to.be con erned@

Disliked: Insect-Based spray in elevator, in bedroom and throughout the hotel. Air conditioning unit did not work. Telephone did not work. Had to request a move to another room. Too much spraying for insects. Hotel needs to be closed for remodeling. Great location but needs to be current. It's too expensive for its quality. If you are spraying for roaches like that, just remodel. I have asthma and had a horrible experience. It's not a Marriott brand. Should be refunded or compensated for Monroe LA trip. I was embarrassed. Blessings. -- JH
