Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town

They accommodated my needs to stay late, and all were helpful when a bag was misplaced - they found it right away. All staff were super friendly - especially the valet/parking guys!

Liked: The front desk staff was great as was the housekeeping staff.

I typically love the Marriott, unfortunately this time I was very disappointed. I purchased a room with 2 double beds and ended up with 1 bed for 3 people to share. Wasn't my idea of fun, but we managed. Next time I am going to go directly through the hotel because it was roughly the same price by a few dollars.

Liked: Great service from Marriott!
Disliked: Wrong room.

Good but FYI parking and...

Liked: Nice location, regular hotel. Only bad thing is you have to pay for breakfast AND parking per day, or you have to park on the street. If you’re paying that much for a hotel room those should be included.

Liked: Great location. Close to old town Pasadena and lots of eateries nearby.
Disliked: False advertising. Booked a room via booking.com that said 1 king, 1 queen and 1 sofa bed. When we got to the hotel, they said they didn't have any rooms like that. Had to squeeze to sleep for the whole weekend. Also room phone did not work so we could not call front desk and had to always walk there to request any room service or housekeeping of any kind.

Good location for a visit...

Liked: My girlfriend and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hotel location was close to Old Town and the Convention Center for an event that we were attending.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the elevator closest to the side of the building serving our room was out of order during cur stay.

Liked: Location, staff friendly, nice size room
Disliked: Pool, more services for dining

Bad

Liked: Room had a backed up sink infested with drain flies. Disgusting.
