Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town, Pasadena

They accommodated my needs to stay late, and all were helpful when a bag was misplaced - they found it right away. All staff were super friendly - especially the valet/parking guys!

Liked: The front desk staff was great as was the housekeeping staff.

I typically love the Marriott, unfortunately this time I was very disappointed. I purchased a room with 2 double beds and ended up with 1 bed for 3 people to share. Wasn't my idea of fun, but we managed. Next time I am going to go directly through the hotel because it was roughly the same price by a few dollars.

Disliked: Booking.comMade a reservation. Paid with credit card. never got confirmation of payment. Went to hotel and staff worked with me to find it. My experience with booking.com was very disappointing. At least it was consistent. I have always been let down by booking.com. I am mad at myself for using booking.com

Liked: Nice location in the heart of Old Pasadena. Room and facilities were as expected. Price was reasonable.
Disliked: $22/day to park5 days / 4 nights - room was never cleaned.

Liked: The location of the Hotel was close to Pasadena City Hall where we were doing a senior photo shoot the next morning. It was also close to Old Town Pasadena so we had plenty of places to eat.

Liked: The breakfast was good; the service from the staff was excellent. The rooms were small but clean.
Disliked: We were not told ahead of time when we checked in that there was a parking fee. When we got our final bill is when we saw the parking charge. Hotel guests should not have to pay for parking, this is not NY City where space is limited.

Liked: Great welcome, lovely pool area and an almost perfect location for the old town restaurants, shops and bars etc. The room was spacious and the air con/heating was very efficient. Shower was great and the bed was dreamy. A very comfortable hotel and we would definitely stay there again if we’re back in the area.
Disliked: The pillows were just awful. The bed was fab but the pillows were just not up to the job.

Liked: The only hood thing about it was its location. It’s situated very close to old town Pasadena shops and restaurants. And that is why we chose to stay there.
Disliked: The staff at front seat were unfriendly. They totally ignored the messages I sent over Booking.com. The room didn’t even have any water for guests. The only thing they had in the bathroom room for guests was a piece of cheap quality soap, shampoo and minimum amount of towels. The coffee machine was very old and small. The price should have been half of what they are asking for what they provided for their guests.
