Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town

They accommodated my needs to stay late, and all were helpful when a bag was misplaced - they found it right away. All staff were super friendly - especially the valet/parking guys!

Liked: The front desk staff was great as was the housekeeping staff.

I typically love the Marriott, unfortunately this time I was very disappointed. I purchased a room with 2 double beds and ended up with 1 bed for 3 people to share. Wasn't my idea of fun, but we managed. Next time I am going to go directly through the hotel because it was roughly the same price by a few dollars.

Liked: The hotel was clean and good location, not fare from nice shops and restaurants.
Disliked: You have to read the hotel’s policies to find out there is an additional $35 a day parking fee. No microwave in the room, not one drawer to unpack, we lived out of our suitcases for five days; the room was small and crowded for a king bed and a sofa bed, there was three of us. The breakfast was good but terribly overpriced and nothing different from any other less expensive hotels. There are restaurants around the corner better food options, much better prices. For what we ended up paying in total, we could’ve stayed in Hawaii.

Disliked: The Staff is HIGHLY INCOMPETENT! They double charged my card and also assigned me a room that wasn't cleaned and had dirty blankets still on the floor.
