Great stay

Liked: Good location, we walked from the airport and back, no problem. Comfortable bed and quiet
Disliked: Air conditioner works very hard to produce little cold air

Hotel is good, the kitchen...

Liked: Location is good. 10 mins walk from the station, but with my heavy case it felt like longer! The shuttle was good. £4.50 is steep though!
Disliked: The service in the restaurant was SLOW! And the food was only warm not hot. It's difficult, but given the nature of the hotel, it is really only people in the midst of long travel days who stay, so rapid service and quality food is essential so people can finally just try to relax before their onward journey. but at the end of a long day, waiting an hour for food when the place isn't busy isn't great

Ideal for location

Liked: They have family rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The air conditioning wasn’t working and it was one of the hottest days in the UK. Although we were aware that they were trying to fix it.

Very good

Overpriced and terrible food.

Liked: Very close to the airport for an early morning flight.
Disliked: Rooms were fine, but not great value for money. Restaurant was poor, our starters (fried calamari) were still frozen in the middle. The staff kindly asked the kitchen to properly cook replacements but all of our mains were then left on a hot plate while this happened so were dry and congealed.
