Courtyard by Marriott Lexington North

If you book online be sure to ask upon arrival that you are not going to be electronically charged again for the same night.

Liked: Parking was close and convenient to room and Rupp Arena.
Disliked: Booked online and charged automatically. Charged again, and discovered the duplicate charge upon check out. Unfortunately the refund can not be issued for seven days. Not good business practice.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Liked: Great location; very clean and well kept rooms. Enjoyed the balcony on my room and the areas to sit outside and relax in the courtyard. It was beautiful.
Disliked: None.

Did some things well, some...

Liked: Front Lobby nicely appointed with "dining" area. Very easy, quick check in by friendly employees.
Disliked: Once you walked into the hallways the hotel showed its age. The rooms also looked aged. Recommend freshening the hallways up at least. New carpet and paint? Then work on rooms later.

Disliked: The toilet was not working.

Liked: It was close to the location I was driving back and forth from and very clean.
Disliked: I didn’t like after 11pm we had to go through the main doors and the side doors were locked where parking was.

Liked: It has the over all feel of safe.
Disliked: the facility needs a few up dates with cooling systems and wifi

Liked: The location and rate.
Disliked: There were 4 of us. We needed extra towels and pillows. The rooms only provided 3 pillows per bed and 3 sets of towels.

Liked: Unaware rooms had a balcony so that was a plus!
Disliked: Nothing that I didn’t like but Needs some upgrades for it to be a Marriott. Also adding a breakfast cost is kind of suspect because there is no buffet, just a counter where you can purchase menu items.
