Disliked: The location of the hotel is tricky, especially during the night. Lots of drug addicts.

Disliked: Unfortunately we were served undercooked chicken in the restaurant. We returned it back to the kitchen but it came out a second time still undercooked which is a huge Salmonella and Campylobacter risk. I spoke with the restaurant manager whose inadequate reaction was to say sorry but still tried to charge for the uneaten chicken dish. We refused to pay for the chicken. Overall, this was a very unprofessional response to a potentially dangerous public health issue.

Liked: The worst hotel experience of my life – absolutely disgusting treatment!We arrived at the hotel at 1:00 PM with two small children – exhausted and hungry after a long journey. We were aware that check-in wasn’t until 3:00 PM, and we respected that. But what happened next was beyond unacceptable.At exactly 3:00 PM, we went back to the reception. And what do we get told? That our room is still not ready, and we need to wait another 45 minutes. Are you serious?! We’ve already waited two hours with children, and now this?But it gets worse. A Black woman working at the reception overheard the conversation and immediately intervened. She checked the system and – surprise – there was a room ready. She handed us a key on the spot. No problem.So WHY were we turned away in the first place? Let me be very clear: I am absolutely convinced we were treated differently because we are foreigners and don’t look like everyone else. The first man (light-skinned, cold attitude) didn’t even bother to check properly – he just dismissed us like we were nothing.That’s discrimination. That’s racism. And it’s disgusting.We had two small kids with us. We had waited patiently. There was NO excuse for this kind of arrogant, disrespectful and possibly racist behavior. I’m sure the room was ready at least an hour earlier. He just didn’t want to give it to us.This wasn’t a mistake. It was deliberate. He saw us, decided we weren’t important, and sent us away for no reason – until someone else with a conscience stepped in and did the job he couldn’t be bothered to do.I’m furious. No family – no human being – should ever be treated like this. If you’re a family, if you’re not white, if you expect basic human decency – STAY FAR AWAY from this hotel.Shame on this place. We will NEVER come back.
