Disliked: We recently stayed at the Courtyard Grand Junction. We were very disappointed in the way we were greeted by the clerk, who apparently had worked a double shift. We found out in the morning she was the manager. My wife has a minor handicap, which makes it necessary to have a handicap-accessible room. Our reservation was made online, and it showed we had a pull-out couch in the room. She said there was not, and nothing she could do. Also, we asked for an AARP discount and our Marriot rewards account, which she also said she would not do or take the time to look up. We checked in anyway, and when we saw our room, it was in substandard condition. a bedside drawer was broken, and the entire room looked run down with dirty carpet. We returned to the front desk and requested another room. We were finally given another room, which was slightly better, but the bed was very uncomfortable. We found the pool to be very small and cold, and the prices charged for food were quite expensive. We expected a lot more for the higher price we paid for the Marriot name brand and would have been better off with a Comfort Inn. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Liked: We arrived late with little ones and the staff had our room set up to include a sofa sleeper for the kids. The staff helped us with all of our questions and helped make our stay wonderful. A huge shout out to Rocky at reception. He helped us get the family settled and was very personable.
