Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park

Easy check in. Very good room with big comfortable bed. Good all round experience.

Good but not great.

Liked: Easy access and straight forward booking in process. Rooms are very good and the bed is comfy. Breakfast pastries are excellent and you can help yourself to hot or cold drinks. Lifts work quick and the place is clean albeit not that old yet. Tea and coffee in your room works well. The TV is large and the A/C good. Views upstairs are fantastic.
Disliked: You should really get free WiFi at the price you pay for your room. The English Breakfast is good, but nothing special. Coffee is also very strong, but you may prefer it like that. Evening meal choice in the 'bistro' not great and they ask you if you want to pay extra for service! Sausage and Mash could have a few vegetables with it and a bit less gravy/soup. The hot water in your bathroom doesn't get 'hot-hot' and parking is an extra charge as well which adds to your bill.

Liked: Spotless clean, spacious, friendly staff.
Disliked: Busy breakfast. Tables were not always set, available or clean during busy breakfast times.

Will stay again but maybe...

Liked: The location , smart look of the rooms.
Disliked: Staff not quick enough to serve in the dining area. Not the greatest food ( the burger was dry).

Liked: Handy as stop on way to Cornwall from the North. Hotel is comfortable, staff are very pleasant and it always has been a pleasant stay

Disliked: The most uncomfortable bed and pillows and aircon that doesn’t cool the room

Brilliant for an overnight stop...

Liked: The View restaurant and bar are so very perfect - great food, drinks and service. So close to the M5 for trips to Devon and Cornwall
