Nice hotel but need to...

Liked: Great location for our specific trip. Hotel was clean and tidy and nicely decorated.
Disliked: Check in was very busy, not enough staff on and it would help if there was a separate concierge desk rather than the staff who were checking people in spending time providing such information as it slowed the check in process. Shower pressure disappointing. Breakfast was ok, selection standard but cooked food was like warm as best and not hot. You’re offered a small selection of items that can be ordered fresh but nobody came to ask if we’d like to order until we practically finished our breakfast so it’s pointless.

Disliked: I have stayed in this property before a few years ago. I was impressed by the renovations in the reception upon arrival. I paid a huge amount more money for this night stay as it was during the festival. When paying over £400 for a room I didn't expect to find a huge stain on the carpet and black mould round the shower tray - not very impressed

Liked: A very good, typical Scottish breakfast is served in a pleasantly retro-decorated space, with very friendly and helpful staff, especially Eliana, Bonita, and Ella.The room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable, with a small exception, which is unbecoming of a hotel of this caliber.The location is excellent, especially for those arriving by tram from the airport.
Disliked: The tiny bathroom sink wasn't befitting a hotel of this caliber.The receptionist at check-in spoke his native language very quickly, making it difficult for us to understand, despite our warnings to slow down.
