Airport shuttle not reliable

Liked: They had airport shuttle.
Disliked: Shuttle pickup is very unscheduled and not clear. We had to take a cab. Morning shuttles don't start until 7:00 a.m. so no shuttle for early morning flights. Had to take a cab again. If you're looking for airport shuttle.. I wouldn't stay at this hotel.

Would stay again due to...

Liked: Breakfast was average but filling. Location is a 7 minute walk to Herndon Metro Silver Line station. Easy to get into downtown DC. Quiet room.
Disliked: Reception could have said, "Hello, welcome to Marriott." Seemed uninterested in her job.

The hotel needed upgrades and...

Liked: The location was good. One of the check in person brought us a blanket and soft drink. He was very nice.
Disliked: I thought it was not stocked well. No maid service after being asked for it a few times. Needed to get our own towels off the cart. No glasses restocked

Great hotel for a short...

Liked: Hotel clean and staff very friendly. Took the complimentary shuttle bus to the airport, which was great.

Liked: The bar was nice and the food was good. The bar and food staff were rushed though and could have used some backup.
Disliked: I did not have breakfast due to time constraints. I was unaware that breakfast was only available Monday through Friday.
