Nancy, St Thomas, visiting Mattamy Athletic Centre Thu, 19 April 2018

We were happy we chose to stay at The Marriott because of my friend's fall and the staff were so helpful to her. Everyone we came in contact with were kind, friendly and caring. Thank you to all.

Liked: My friend had a fall the first night. I called 0 and got the Night Manager who immediately brought up security and we were able to get her back into bed. The staff were very kind and helpful to her after the fall, even loaning us a wheelchair so we could get her to the Mattamy Centre to see some of the curling. The staff may like to know we took her to Emergency in St. Thomas and her ankle was fractured. She has on a walking cast for 6 weeks. We both thank the very helpful and very kind staff, managers, security, housekeeping bar and restaurant staff.
Disliked: The elevators were a little slow, but being seniors we're never in a hurry anyway, so it wasn't a problem for us. That is the only thing I can think of.

Mommy, Hamilton, visiting Tarragon Theatre Mon, 16 November 2015

The staff was great. The hotel needs refurbishing as soon as possible. It is old. OLD! And that is unacceptable for it's level. There are better furbished hotels on the same street.

Liked: Very spacious.
Disliked: Needs refurbishing badly.

Bad

Liked: They didn?t let me check in, there was a racist bigot as a manager and the person who told me that they have every right not too let me stay. I am a well dressed man, my clothes mostly cost more than what he made that day as a radiant bigot. I had a long day and could not access a proper place to lay my head for the night, I will not be recommending that hotel until I am given a composition of some sort.
Disliked: The bigot that was working the front desk... please share this cause I?m going to share it if much as possible, I even told my story too people I know at CBC.

Would stay there again for...

Liked: Check in was quick and easy; valet parking easy and worthwhile. Small Starbucks on location was very nice. Bathroom was spacious, clean. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet. Checked out early and left luggage in room for the day while at business meetings that lasted until 5pm. Very convenient.
Disliked: Wish I'd had more time to enjoy the facilities!

Disliked: Only beds made, soap not refilled in shower. Perhaps due to virus no further cleaning was done.
