Erica, Brookings, visiting Horizon Events Center Clive

All in all this was a great hotel. Although it was lacking a refrigerator it had everything else that would make this hotel a regular choice in my view.

Liked: Nice hot tub and pool; clean rooms; comfortable beds and great courtyard area.
Disliked: The only bad thing I can say is there was no refrigerator in the room. Microwave, coffee, hairdryer and iron were all provided but I missed having a fridge.

Staff wont help

Disliked: My key card stopped working and I got locked out of the hotel. The maintenance worker said it happens sometimes and you just have to deal with it. The assistant manager Matt Hood was unwilling to offer any kind of compensation. Basically stated he doesn’t care about me as a customer and doesn’t care if I was happy or if I ever came back.

A great place to stay.

Liked: clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. parking was easy. main lobby area was nice and open. the facility was clean and well maintained.
Disliked: nothing
