Awesome place, views, amenities and...

Liked: Carolina Beach has a fairly limited amount of hotels. The C ourtyad is smack in the center of the action. The location is perfect. The reception is extremely friendly. The staff is excellent, friendly and always trying to make sure your stay is pleasant. The Bistro restaurant was very nice, clean and with an excellent menu which was great for breakfast. It also has a well-supplied bar and a nice buffet. There is also a small snack, items and drinks station behind the front desk that even includes beer. The rooms are large, comfortable and with outstanding views. One thing that caught my attention was how sound proof the rooms are. Even with the amusement park music going full blast at night, you could not hear a thing once you close the balcony door. Elevators were never crowded and everybody was very friendly. The beach is great, never super crowded. The Boardwalk is short but beautifully maintained. We loved the swing benches, although in high demand, but a nice touch to sit down, swing and enjoy the breeze. We loved the people all around town. A definite place to return to.
Disliked: The one thing that may be of note is the price. It can be up there, but given the amenities, location, comfort and total experience, I guess they all make up for the room rate. So, it is all relative!
