Perfect for what was needed...

Liked: comfy beds. Location was good for Southbank and wandering around the river.

Big hotel close to the...

Liked: This is a big hotel just opposite the hospital (this meant ambulance sirens and the helicopter arriving at times). I was attending a conference at the conference and exhibition centre and it was a good 20 minute walk to get there each morning. Using your room key to access the right floor of the building was a bit complicated (which order to swipe and press). The restaurant was pretty expensive. The price with breakfast included was expensive and all the prices in the restaurant were pretty expensive. Within an hour of closing after breakfast, lunch or evening meal they were clearing up - because of the prices it wasn't well frequented. Rooms on the other side of the building might well be brighter and with a nicer view - we were in the shade all day and looked across to the Ronald McDonald house.

Liked: We have never stayed in that part of Brisbane. It was great. Easy to get to city and the football. We only had one night because we were there with our grandson for the football. The Rugby was on as well so the room was expensive. I would certainly get a quote for a room with you again. My husband and I are 70 and we found the walk to train very easy.
Disliked: nothing
