Superb

Liked: Very helpful staff. Great location, a short walk or subway ride from everything. Breakfast was consistently good, and they even had a drag brunch for CSD. The gym has what you need for a quick workout. Overall great value for money.

Pleasant

Liked: The room was lovely and big, the staff in the restaurant were lovely. The drinks were good value and the hotel was very modern.
Disliked: Reception were miserable and would even say aggressive when trying to check out and in. I was disappointed with the value of money for the portion of the food.

If I returned to Berlin...

Liked: When we arrived at 11am after a very very early flight and little sleep, we were delighted that (by good luck) our room was available as we were desperate for a couple of hours sleep. The hotel staff especially the restaurant staff & the Saturday reception staff were very good and helpful. The restaurant menu was a little limited but my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals there. The hotel is also in an excellent location if you want to west/north to attractions like Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate or to the east to for example Alexanderplatz.
Disliked: We had booked through Booking.com for 3 adults and one child (aged 14). When we arrived it was clear the hotel had a booking only for 3 adults. Having said that no issue was taken by the staff and a bed was quickly added to the room by the staff. I was disappointed that there was an issue in the first place and could not understand how the problem arose.One minor issue with the room was that we discovered as we were using the shower that house-keeping had not replenished the soap and shampoo.
