Courtyard by Marriott Austin Airport

Booked last minute; staff was courteous and friendly; the room was great; A/C was cold.

Liked: Comfy bed, even the sofa bed was comfortable!

Liked: Hotel very nice; staff polite and helpful.
Disliked: Very hot in the elevator.

Just one comment, bathtub floor did not have non slip strips, it was too slippery.

Liked: I booked this hotel because breakfast was included per the web site - only to find out that break fast was an $18.00 per person extra charge. I will not stay in a Marriott property ever again. That is bait and switch

LONG TIME ONGOING SHOWER ISSUE-NO...

Liked: It was all nice nothing to brag about it was the “didn’t like”that was a bummer.
Disliked: The shuttle bus took super long to pick up at the airport (over 30 minutes when quoted 10. I saw other same shuttles come and go repeatedly. Once the shuttle arrives the driver was totally un friendly and barely said a word and the A/C was broken. And sure these things happen. And it could have been excused easily with some conversation and a simple explanation. “Please pardon the inconvenience ladies, we are experiencing some technical difficulties today” would have gone a long ways.. But we got nothing. Except the feeling we were a bother. Then to top it off NO HOT WATER TO SHOWER!!! When I booked I saw that a woman had complained about 3 to 5 months prior that there was no hot water in the shower and she was really upset because she had called ahead to make sure because she had seen a review prior about no hot water, but she assumed it would’ve been taken care of by then but she did her due diligence and called ahead and they said it was fine. She wakes up in the morning no hot shower. Well I trusted that this was probably just a glitch and I went ahead and booked and sure enough I wake up and I had had to cut my short because I had a really bad head cold and I needed a hot shower desperately to clear my head from the sinus congestion to get on the plane yet NO HOT WATER. So I could not shower at all before I got on a plane from Texas to Honolulu.. this was horrible! I had to take a sponge bath. So they definitely have a major issue. I told them at checkout and they did absolutely nothing for me… I even called to address the situation with them and they emailed me later with 3000 Marriott Bonvoy points again this did nothing to make me feel better whatsoever. If this was something that I just happened once I could’ve easily forgotten it but the fact that this is an ongoing situation and they’ve done nothing about it speaks volumes don’t stay here!

Liked: The staff, Devin our Bartender was amazing! His drinks were top notch! He was happy, personable and an all around great person!
Disliked: Nothing, my flight was cancelled so it was just a quick overnight.

Liked: Very standard courtyard Marriott hotel.
Disliked: The flight was too early so no breakfast even I paid my room with breakfast. When I asked if there was anything I could have from hotel for breakfast, the staff said no. It would have been better if I could at least have a bread to go or something else.
