Bitter Sweet

Liked: I did have a pleasant experience with Tony and Brandon. The location was nice! They had a nice sitting area in the courtyard. I didn't get to enjoy it because it rained. My overall stay in my room was "GOOD".
Disliked: The person who attended my reservation made me feel like I was a problem to her just for walking in. She let me know right off there were no rooms 😳 but I had made reservations months ago.I didn't ask for much since I could tell her energy was "WAY" off🤦🏼‍♀️! The hallway was long and dark. (Need brighter lights) There were "No Ice" machines on the first floor (There was an employee who gave me ice from behind the bar though ☺️). I was so grateful I was on the first floor because the elevator was not working. Since I ended up traveling by myself I was a little uncomfortable with the patio door being in the room (1st floor near the dumpster) I would like to see more customer training done at this location. I reminded them... 👉🏼 " You Do Realize We Are Asked To Do A Review?" And "I will have to tell the truth!"

Liked: We called 3 times stating we would arrive late.This included less than 30 minutes before we arrived at 12:15 am. They cancelled your reservation and forced a new full cost reservation.
Disliked: They cancelled reservation in spite of 3 calls letting them know of our late arrival. Also the carpet in the room was wet.

Construction at work 😱

Liked: The staff was very nice, and friendly. They really tried to make the stay comfortable.
Disliked: The entire building is going through renovation which was not advertised. On arrival my husband and I was put in a room on the 2nd floor. The floor alone looked dreadful. In the room the closet was not completed hangers and rod on the floor. There was coffee but no coffee maker and microwave. No wash soap in the shower. And no ice machine working due to construction. Had to go to the front desk to request ice. Since arriving very late close to midnight we stayed in the room. The next morning I requested another room and the staff changed our room to the 1st floor with no issues. Thank you Ms. Ashley for being very polite and apologetic about the situation.

Disliked: The room was too hot. Even with the air conditioner on it never cooled off

Disliked: Was harassed about a room check everyday couldn’t get a itemized invoice was harassed about my service dog 4 men came to my door demanding that I let them come in and check room when I asked why I was told many different things what makes this situation even worse my very good friend Arnold Plourde passed away and the funeral was that morning so I was getting ready to pay my respects but also make staff happy I left. Due to the harassment and the felling of being not wanted i haven’t been able to get a proper invoice from hotel not even for incedental I hate when my service dog comes up in conversation as if she is a problem after I’ve given staff her federal license with registration number and checked in ultimately after room check nothing was rong but I decided to leave due to the harassment of more than one staff coming to my door everyday demanding to do a room check. I would never recommend this property due to the harassing behavior of staff and improper handling of sales tax not being documented correctly this is what I finally was given and the GM wrote in I was due a refund where on earth does a Marriott Handel there folio like this?
