Disliked: Ripped curtians jacuzi not working not only in room we booked but doom we where moved to fuses kept blowing knocking out telly and bedsides lights

Disliked: Rooms are old, desperate needs updating, massive cracks in the walls, no heating, just not nice at all

Liked: Beautiful surroundings, it felt like a proper break. The staff all friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable with excellent views. It was lovely to see the swifts and beautiful trees and gardens. Parking facilities were excellent. Having bottled water to drink and hot chocolate and nice biscuits were nice touches in the room which made it homely and comfortable.
Disliked: It was all so lovely. Any very minor glitches were not a bother as everything else was so good.

Disliked: Cracks on the walls in the room. Expected more for the cost.

Interesting place to stay

Liked: Nice grounds and ambiance. Lovely building in an old world style. They are trying hard. Breakfast very good.The associated Asian food restaurant, Pakhora, , was excellent and good value. Lovely authentic Nepalese food and good value. There was a wedding set up for the next day and it looked stunning.
Disliked: Old building maintenance issues, some blown wall paper and would be draughty in winter. Need to sort out piles of earth and rubble viewed from windows.

Liked: We like the location as it is central to our favourite restuarants
Disliked: The room was roo warm and the windows are not able to open and there was a damp smell as if there were damp towels on radiators. Stayed here twice now but this time wasn't as good as the first time.
