Good value for mkney
Liked: Excellent buffet breakfast for £8.Friendly staff when I arrived late.
Disliked: Decor a bit tired. Carpet on stairs deffo needs replacing!

Disliked: The walk into town was close, the parking isn't great unless you manage to get outside

Great location, comfortable stay
Liked: The location is excellent, the hotel and room were really comfortable and the price was very reasonable
Disliked: You have to call a poster if you come back after 11pm which isn’t ideal

Felt safe &comfy in room...
Liked: I arrived from train - Edinburgh just before 3pm.No one at reception so went round to restaurant.Immediately housekeeper kept up &indicated Andrea would be the one to help me.I returned to reception &waited while Andrea seemed to take her time to move there .Her face was blank.Her response to my comment /question about the need for so many emails before my arrival was met without decent response.Silence remained as I completed the registration form she said was needed.My start was far from good.The next time I passed her smiled seemed more alive &on Sunday morning after I made my experience know to the male onreceotion,Andrea was positively friendly in her ER.I can only assume he gave her feedback.
Disliked: My room,booked a while ago was on first floor-111-perfect to hear all the traffic noises at the big junction at the roundabout and train station exit On both Friday and Saturday nights I could hear a bunch of smokers below my window as I attempted to sleep.

Liked: Friendly staff, clean room.
Disliked: Lot of street noise. Bar shut too early , no chance of a night cap after returning from town.Rooms small and in need of decoration, no toilet brush.

Adequate for what I wanted.
Liked: A cheap, pleasant hotel with very good staff
Disliked: Food was not available midweek.

Exceptional
Liked: Staff were lovely, rooms great.
Disliked: Very warm in rooms, difficult to park motorcycle safely. Although we did just park on pavement out front with no problems. But it's a worry.
