Liked: Location was central - although would be good to highlight that it's next door to a live music venue so it can get a bit lively when they all leave.It was very easy to get to all parts of Newcastle and very handy for the train station. We could walk to most places we wanted to visit, very easily. Beds were comfy so we slept well and having a separate lounge and kitchen area was really good - overall it did the job we needed it for.Staff were very nice and helpful.
Disliked: It was grubby in areas and the bedrooms felt very tight for space - the desk and chair was crammed up against the bed and it was difficult to get to one side of the bed - there would be no way anyone could use the desk and chair as you couldn't pull it out far enough to get any room.There was some black mould in the shower and the tiles hadn't been cleaned in places in the shower which looked grubby. It was quite expensive for what it is. I would have expected more for the cost and you didn't get breakfast included in that either which was disappointing.

Liked: Great location, staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were ok. We were able to leave bags at the hotel the next day while we visited Newcastle.
