Dreadful

Liked: The location of the hotel
Disliked: Food in the Hudson was terrible, the waiter was very rood. Stayed in room 419 and there was a party in the room across from us which kept us up all night. The staff on reception gave us the wrong invoice. TWICE! And had no compensation from the hotel regarding these issues! I will not be returning. And I will never recommend this hotel based on my experience

Disappointing Stay

Liked: The building itself is impressive, you can tell from the lobby, restaurant and bar they have spent well in decoration. I don?t see where the money spent on the refurbishment on the bedrooms has gone?! The food was good and dining service was excellent.
Disliked: Parking is poor. If you don?t arrive in good time you have to park 5 mins down the road where they say they will pay for the taxi there and back but they don?t. The bedroom was supposed to be a junior suite but it was just a double bed with a sofa. The bathroom had a very large window which was in full view of the toilet and shower, it also didn?t open...no air con. The rooms are so hot! Dinner, the cheese board desert, the cheese was warm and I have no doubt the cheese had been left out for a while as it was hard and cracked...yuk! The breakfast service and food was dismal, the service very poor. It took half an hour to even get some food and we were the 2nd people in out of 4 tables.....! A little over priced on food and drink for what you get. Won?t be staying again.

Liked: Myself and my boyfriend enjoyed the location and the decor of the property. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful and it continues up into the bedrooms. The hotel is quiet with COVID-19 but it hasn?t taken away from the loveliness of the staff. They are very welcoming and chatty. All in all it was a lovely night away. The only thing I would note is a 25 hold on your card to make sure that nothing had been taken from the mini fridge. This isn?t listed on the booking itself.

Liked: We managed to check in early which was superb, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking was also useful and the central location, just opposite the station is a win!
Disliked: The room was incredibly hot and had just been refurbished, no air con and the radiators were on making it even hotter. Despite its recent refurb the finish was very poor and they hadn?t done things like replace the stained carpet! Probably wouldn?t stay there again.
