Countryside Inn Jackson

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the continental breakfast the next morning. The location was great for being close to the fairgrounds where I attended an event. The only downside was getting back to the hotel late, there were not any food establishments close by.

Liked: The hotel was in very close proximity to the Jackson County Fairgrounds where I attended a concert event. The staff was courteous and helpful. The pool was a nice addition.
Disliked: Not close to any food establishments and only had a vending machine and continental breakfast.

Disliked: Pool was a storage unit and trash on the floor of the laundry room and weight room

Comfortable rooms. Not a Hampton...

Liked: Comfortable stay with some setbacks.
Disliked: It’s not Hampton inn as pictured. Bathroom sink and Tub did not drain. Included Breakfast limited. I would stay again for the price as staff was pretty nice overall.

Disliked: The hotel stinks and my room had an unusual odor also. There was leftover things in the refrigerator, tissue that someone else used in the toilet and hair in the tub.

Liked: Property is not nice nor is it a Hampton anymore and the pool does not work
Disliked: It’s not at all as advertised, I think they have full time residents there also

Creepy

Liked: Not a lot. Not well kept. No air in lobby. Hallway floors dirty. Needs major updates
Disliked: See above. Additionally there were just people hanging out and walking around the perimeter making us uncomfortable

Unsatisfied with stay

Disliked: Pool closed, vending machines for drinks and snacks out of order, beds uncomfortable, room not cleaned during entire stay

Disliked: It’s a place I felt the need to look for bed bugs.

Bad

Liked: We liked the location but didn't have the breakfast because we did not stay
Disliked: The place smells strange and is not at all like the pictures the pool has closed and would be for 2-3 weeks to sum it up I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they clean it up
