Liked: Breakfast okay.
Disliked: Wifi did not have any connection to the internet. Needed paint on bathroom door and on previously water stained ceiling.

Liked: The location was great, the staff friendly and ice cold ac.
Disliked: Hot water in bathroom sink was non existent, beds are a bit outdated mattress wise and Cox cable is awful. Also, in room coffee is really bad.

Liked: Desk staff was great, friendly and responsive.
Disliked: Room was a step below what I expected. Wifi wouldn't connect - it was corrected, but not something I wanted to deal with after a long road trip. At least one of the pillows smelled like cologne, so I am not even sure if the bed was fully changed. There was hair in bathtub. I should have spent the extra $20 and booked The Hyatt Place across the road. Live and learn.

Pleasant

Liked: The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air worked adequately though the room did not get as cold at night as what the air conditioner was set to. It was a nice and spacious room and was relatively quiet. Our room was at the end of the hall on the first floor and near an exit which made relieving the dog convienent.
Disliked: The caulk and paint in the bathroom were sloppily done; not up to par with the rest of the room and hotel. The caulk was cracking. Did a 10 yo do the caulk and paint? The bathroom smelled like sewer and we discovered it was coming from the bathtub drain, so closed the stopper and the smell went away. I was surprised there was no exhaust fan in the shower to remove moisture after a shower; maybe they are not code in Topeka, KS. The shower head was very whimpy. It reminded me of a kitchen sink sprayer. Breakfast was okay but not restaurant quality. The eggs and sausage were subpar and the french toast was tough but the biscuits and sausage gravy were good. There was a good selection of choices for breakfast to eat and drink.
