Meh
Liked: Beds were comfortable
Disliked: We were sitting in the lobby downstairs chatting (not loud, obnoxious nor drinking). Night clerk "April" came in to relieve evening clerk ~10:45. Evening clerk left ~11pm and April informed us that the lobby closed in 30min and that we'd need to vacate. 😲 One of the ladies went back downstairs for some tea and couldn't find it. She asked "April" and was told if there was no tea there, they didn't have any. My friend asked if there was any tea behind the counter and April said if there wasn't tea there, there was none. My friend asked if there would be tea available at breakfast and April snottily repeated herself, "if there's not tea there, there is none."Saturday morning we killed a roach in one of the rooms. 😖My original reservation was for 2 rooms with King beds. I called the hotel the day before arriving and asked if 1 room could be changed to 2 beds. They said there'd be an upcharge to change room type: from $189 to $259! The thermostat in 1 room didn't work. 🫤We were very disappointed in April's attitude at the front desk. Quiet 50+ year old women being sent to bed seemed ridiculous (do lobbies really even close for paying customers?)
