Liked: Everything was as expected.
Disliked: I did not get a receipt. I received a text to do the convenient check out and it said I would be sent a copy of the bill shortly. I still do not have a copy. I tried the hotel, they gave me another number. I tried that number and it wants an itinerary number. I don’t have one, I only have my confirmation number. I want a copy of my receipt. Too much automation, no humans to talk to!

Disliked: The bathroom wasn't handicap friendly. Toliet paper far from the toilet. Toliet low for a handicap person. Really needed a grab bar to steady myself getting in and out of the shower. Needed more electrical plug ins near beds

Disliked: Didn't honor our booking reservation. A random staff member with a ill-kempt beard and t-shirt kept wandering into the front desk area to create conflict while we were trying to work things out.The clerk said the only way one can be certain that one has a reservation is to book directly with the hotel. Even the hotel's own website isn't reliable.Key cards frequently need renewing, because they stop working. Toilet in our room needed unclogging. Exercise machines face away from TV. No spinning bike. One machine set to French. Tatty signs, some misspelled stuck here and there. Broken paper dispenser in public restroom. Desk not manned all night.

Great hotel for Dekalb/Sycamore stay

Liked: I really liked the king suite because I could slap the kids on the sofa bed and have a little privacy in the bedroom. Very clean, we asked for housekeeping once and she did a really nice job. Breakfast is standard. The property is not brand spanking new but it’s not dilapidated, it’s in pretty good shape, very minor cosmetic issues. I felt very comfortable staying here with kids. Shower water pressure is amazing.
Disliked: I think the water is too soft. It makes your skin feel very slippery and makes conditioner not work well. It makes the shower floor a little precarious. I also dislike their bacon at breakfast, literally any bacon would be an upgrade from that bacon.
