Liked: Our room was clean. The shower pressure was very good compared to a lot of hotels. The room showed signs of maintenance, which is a good thing. I’d rather see a caulk line than a crack. The breakfast was decent. The staff were very nice and helpful. We were greeted with a complimentary cookie, too.
Disliked: Our room had a musty smell upon arrival and the foyer or entrance of the room wasn’t level; it was noticeably slanted while walking. Not to mention our door was very difficult to close. I don’t think it was lined up properly in the frame. The cereal at breakfast was stale. Specifically, the Cheerios were soft, not crunchy. The elevator seemed as if it could use a tune up.

Unhappy & Disappointed

Disliked: Upon entering the room, it smelled like a mix of cleaning products and body odor. We ended up leaving due to the smell which we figured must have been coming from the adjoining door after we heard someone next door was very ill. You could hear everything through these walls, and we knew it would be impossible to sleep with someone coughing, hacking, and the smell. I feel very bad for whoever was so sick! We asked to move rooms. None were available. We are still fighting for some sort of a refund. It is understandable if it's not the whole amount, but when we left and checked out, even after making it clear we were not staying, they denied our refund and did not check us out. I even have received emails asking us how our night went. Well, we didn't stay and shouldn't have been expected to under the circumstances. Lesson learned- spend your money on a more quality hotel, ask if there is an adjoining door in the room since it seemed to increase smell/noise, and book directly with the hotel, not booking. Too many emails back and forth between the two companies. We will also not be booking with Country Inn & Suits/ Choice hotels again. You would think they would understand we were there for a night of decent sleep before more travels.

Great value for your buck!...

Liked: The breakfast!! The pool was nice for the kids. The suite was set up nicely! All the extras we needed were provided by the front desk also!
Disliked: Pool kept needing to be reheated! Found a bug in tub but didn't see any the rest of the stay.

I stayed out of necessity...

Liked: I liked the location
Disliked: There was no access to drinks for purchase—the vending machine was empty and was scheduled for removal so I had to leave to grab drinks. The breakfast was tasteless.
