Sub-par
Liked: Location was great
Disliked: Check-in had rough patches as the key card activator was not working. Queen beds are actually full size beds. Breakfast was "included" but there were no real options that made it family friendly or appealing. Was double charged fory stay.

Not terrible, but not great,
Liked: Breakfast availability. Location. Friendly breakfast staff and front desk staff.
Disliked: Poor poor management! All very young, and seemingly inexperienced. Poor facilities, ac wasn’t working well, room assignments were incorrect in computer causing confusion between travelers and staff. Definitely needs better management. I think it had potential to be a better hotel!

Liked: The staff was very accommodating and with great energy. Front desk clerk Amanda really made us feel welcomed and had some yummy cookies freshly baked.The cook Rea was very nice and when we had an issue, she was there to help.
Disliked: Well for the price its a great bargain. They were going through changes in management when I got there and was in the middle of some upgrades I was told. I wasn’t expecting a full size bed advertised as a queen which was very shocking but they accommodated us in different ways. Its not a getaway honeymoon stay but very close to GSU and as a parent who is traveling to see my child I find it very suitable.

Hotel is fine, staff is...
Liked: The hotel was clean and quiet, the room was spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: My only complaint is that I arrived for a late checkin only to find no staff on duty to get checked in. The one staff member that was supposed to be on duty left for an emergency but did not bother to notify their manager or other staff to cover the hotel! I had been moving all day in hot Savannah, all I wanted was a shower and a bed but instead I had to call customer service for help! It took an hour before I could get checked into a room. Neither the hotel or booking.com are willing to compensate for the inconvenience. Book directly, don't use booking.com!
