Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Richmond West at I-64 VA

I absolutely loved the Country Inn & Suites. I would recommend it to my family and friends. I plan to use this hotel for all my future stays in Richmond VA. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I was grateful for the choice I made to reserve my stay at the Country Inn & Suites. Even the houskeeping staff was in a great mood! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Liked: This place was beautiful - super clean, quiet and the staff was sweet in a professional way. I felt right at home. I am very sensitive about my sleeping environment, so this was an awesome decision for booking.
Disliked: I could not stay longer. I loved this place!

Fine for a stop and...

Liked: Bed was fine and clean. Facilities definitely need updating. It was standard but not really great. Staff were lovely.
Disliked: Breakfast made both me and my partner ill. The OJ tasted more like Sunny D. Eggs and sausages were not fresh and the milk was off. Smelled of weed throughout. Facilities need updating but were clean enough.

My stay at this hotel...

Liked: I like the location of the hotel. The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, neat, and clean.
Disliked: What I did not like about the hotel was the gym. Which had people loitering around in there. Sitting on the equipment but not working while smoking/drinking alcohol. In the pool area there were about 3-5 guest who propped open the exit door, using the space just outside as their personal smoking/drinking area. Open containers of beer were in clean view of the 6-8 kids, with one of the youngest kids being six years of age. Other guest arrived poolside with open liquor bottles behaving in ways not suitable for kids. There is a decent size glass window separating the gym and pool so parents/kids can clearly see what is going on in there. And lastly used towels were left all around the place. On chairs, the floor, and on tables. I do know that my daughter 7 and I 42 arrived poolside around 2130.

Disliked: The first room we went in was dirty! the floor was sticky, the beds were dirty, the sheets look like they were reused, I used to be a housekeeper.We were placed on the first floor. there were a bunch of kids there that were not being watched by their parents in the pool area or, in the workout room while their parents were sleeping in the pool room not watching them. the staff did not even go and tell the parents anything I thought that was very irresponsible for the parents as well as the staff too sit there in the other room and look in the camera while the kids were in the workout room tearing stuff up. The shower curtains were ripped and should have been thrown in the trash the door handle that leads to the steps was broke off in my daughter's hand. We couldn't even sit outside because the outside furniture was so dirty and full of pollen it was not good. We wouldn't ever stay there again
