I absolutely loved the Country Inn & Suites. I would recommend it to my family and friends. I plan to use this hotel for all my future stays in Richmond VA. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I was grateful for the choice I made to reserve my stay at the Country Inn & Suites. Even the houskeeping staff was in a great mood! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Liked: This place was beautiful - super clean, quiet and the staff was sweet in a professional way. I felt right at home. I am very sensitive about my sleeping environment, so this was an awesome decision for booking.
Disliked: I could not stay longer. I loved this place!

Liked: I like the location, breakfast is decent (eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, strong coffee), and the people at the front desk are excellent.The shower head and the shower curtain rod could certainly use some improvement (low flow and the rod was bent downward). Other than that, everything was good.

Disliked: My family of 4 and grandparents booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Both rooms had various issues to include a toilet that ran continuously and was unable to be repaired and air conditioning that failed to work. Both groups ended up switching to new rooms but there were at least a dozen neglected maintenance issues in all of the rooms. Breakfast was on the low quality end of the spectrum even for free hotel breakfast. It seems that people are smoking weed outside the front door day and night, despite the signs at the front desk prohibiting this. The gym equipment was labeled out of order with a piece of paper. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean and I never felt unsafe, so a short stay wouldn't be the end of the world, but there are better options nearby for the same cost.
