Subpar hotel with an expensive...

Liked: The beds were clean and for the most part the bathroom was clean as well. Parking was available no matter the time of the day and staff was very friendly.
Disliked: We got in the room and the air was on but the room was hot. Both nights we stayed it seemed like the air didn’t work most of the time. We didn’t stay long in the room but when we were there it was hot. The pool is too cold for adults to enjoy which is a waste. The ceiling inside of the pool area is falling apart, the vending machine has scented dryer sheets next to food which just doesn’t make sense and the breakfast is subpar especially the coffee. Not worth waking up for. The signs have papers on them that the times changed on. Taking over the hotel years ago and still not fixing that is unacceptable. After a long day of being in the sun and shopping, we came back to our room and got to the fourth floor and our keys were deactivated. Tried to connect to the wifi and it wouldn’t connect the first night and the second night it was so crappy I just said forget it. We used to love staying here but now it’s just too expensive for the way the hotel has gone down hill. Will most likely find somewhere else.

Disliked: I booked thru Booking.com. Upon arrival at 1 am, the guy at the counter told me to call Booking.com because they haven’t paid him. What? I showed him my confirmation that I had paid. He then said to call them in the morning before I leave to make sure he gets paid. Then he called my room and asked for my card number because my card declined. I told him absolutely not. I told him the funds were already taken out of my bank account. He then (on the phone in my room) told me I needed to pay a $100!deposit. Why he didn’t say that when we were checking in, is beyond me. So I took him cash. At checkout, I had to wait while he sent the lady at the desk to our room to inspect our room before returning our deposit. I will never stay at this hotel again. Not too mention it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever spent in.

Liked: Great location with access to a variety of stores and places to eat.
Disliked: The credit card used to book the reservation as well as the credit card presented on check in day were both charged. I suspect human error. However, I will now have to fight for a refund. Integrity is hard to find these days.
