Disliked: Shower curtain was too long was able to stand on it inside of shower

Liked: The location was just off a major road so it was easy to get to. There was 1 washer and 1 dryer (coin operated) for guest use. The desk agents were friendly. There was an indoor pool.
Disliked: The breakfast was sparse with 1 type of cooked egg dish and 1 type of cooked meat-looked like pork sausage. Not sure whether the eggs were fresh or powdered. There was a make-your-own waffle machine. The waffles tasted like cardboard. The fruit consisted of whole fruit with no way to cut up an apple or orange. No peanut butter for vegetarians/vegans. Some packets of oatmeal and hot water in another room. Some sugary cereals. The coffee was pretty weak.The hotel just had a “tired” feel to it. The rooms hadn’t been updated in many years. The a/c in our room was loud and streamed cool air but it didn’t seem to dehumidify the rooms. Damp towels hanging near the a/c unit overnight were still damp the next morning.

Adequate location but high nightly...

Liked: Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Location is nice, right off of I-94 but located enough away from all road noise. Breakfast was okay, better than a continental breakfast.
Disliked: Air conditioner sounded like it was coming apart, and the toilet squealed when flushed (like the water supply was turned down way too low). Beds/pillows were okay, but too soft for my personal liking. I would sum out everything at this location was okay, but nothing outstanding except the high price they charge (over $200 a night) making this a poor value in my eyes. I would likely stay at a neighboring location next time, which most of them are $100 less a night.

Great value at a good...

Liked: Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was decent. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very close to Indiana dunes national park

Liked: Bed was comfortable, shower was good.
Disliked: The dryer in the guest laundry was out of order. Breakfast was very limited. Only hot offering was waffle machine, sausage with gravy. No eggs. I had a bagel and yogurt to get me on the road.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff was exceptional. I needed a room by the elevator and they did not disappoint. The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: I had an issue turning on the TV. I think you should give directions on how to use the clicker. I stream and have never had DIRECT TV.
