Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Kansas City at Village West KS

I changed rooms the day of my check-in. I was quoted a price with the difference for changing rooms but wasn't informed about the $50 incidental deposit. When I went to call the front desk later about the charge at the time, the phone in the room was not working. Everything was plugged in but I couldn't even get a dial tone. There was a chocolate bar in a trash can in my room upon check in.

Liked: Condition of rooms. Bed comfortable.
Disliked: Guest services by front desk. Cleanliness of room.

The location and the staff was very friendly; the room was clean; the breakfast was good; the hotel was within walking distance of the mall and several restauraunts and had a free shuttle. I would stay here again.

Disliked: I booked a suite and they put us in a handicapped room. I wish they had asked me if that was OK. Also, the suite door was glass with no curtain, so it sort of defeats the purpose of a suite.

The staff was very friendly, the suite was very nice, and the free shuttle service was tremendous.

My friend and I enjoyed our trip very much due to the close proximity to all we wanted. Great shopping, great restaurants, close to concert venue, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, small groups, families or anyone that wanted a nice weekend with plenty to do and a nice hotel nearby.

Liked: The rooms the rooms are very spacious and clean! The ladies at the front desk are very friendly and do everything they can to make the guests feel comfortable.
Disliked: I wish they had biscuits and gravy every morning for breakfast and not just on the weekends

Disliked: I found a roach crawling in the bathroom in my room and the room wasn't to clean when it came to the floors and around the appliances. I went downstairs when I found the roach and handed it to the front desk lady and we did not get moved out of that room or got any kind of discount for the issue! Also, they had a lady raising her voice about a guest not moving out of a room and going into another one in front of other guests at the front desk

Liked: Our room was clean, spacious, the common areas were very clean and smelted good, there is a nice breakfast area, and the pool area is nice. Very clean hotel and staff is friendly .
Disliked: The kids constantly knocked on our door and ran off, waking us up. which was all the way at the very end of the hall. The beds were a bit too firm for our liking.

Liked: I loved the staff! Each one I came in contact with was very accommodating. They helped to make my stay pleasant.
Disliked: I didn't like that we couldn't use the bathtub to take a bath. I was looking forward to a quiet bath and the stopper was broken with no way to fix it. I also didn't like the smell of the elevator. One other thing was the AC in our room never worked so they had to move us.
