Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Kansas City at Village West KS

I changed rooms the day of my check-in. I was quoted a price with the difference for changing rooms but wasn't informed about the $50 incidental deposit. When I went to call the front desk later about the charge at the time, the phone in the room was not working. Everything was plugged in but I couldn't even get a dial tone. There was a chocolate bar in a trash can in my room upon check in.

Liked: Condition of rooms. Bed comfortable.
Disliked: Guest services by front desk. Cleanliness of room.

The location and the staff was very friendly; the room was clean; the breakfast was good; the hotel was within walking distance of the mall and several restauraunts and had a free shuttle. I would stay here again.

Disliked: I booked a suite and they put us in a handicapped room. I wish they had asked me if that was OK. Also, the suite door was glass with no curtain, so it sort of defeats the purpose of a suite.

The staff was very friendly, the suite was very nice, and the free shuttle service was tremendous.

My friend and I enjoyed our trip very much due to the close proximity to all we wanted. Great shopping, great restaurants, close to concert venue, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, small groups, families or anyone that wanted a nice weekend with plenty to do and a nice hotel nearby.

Hotel perfect for our needs

Liked: The staff was super friendly and helpful. And our room was spacious and comfy. The hotel was perfect distance from our event. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Decent for a night

Liked: It was very convenient for the reason we came down it was just a walk over to the festival we were attending
Disliked: They were under remodel so a lot of packages out in the open. I was excited about the pool but the water was cloudy and didn’t look clean at all. Secondly our bathroom could have most definitely been cleaned better and just overall carpeting throughout the hotel and in room not clean looking. We were there to attend a festival but it was extremely loud with after get togethers in the lobby and outside the rooms and some in room gatherings that the staff didn’t say or correct anyone about

Disliked: Bed was very uncomfortable. Little things like toilet paper holder was broke. Door had a hole in the wall. One handle on the dresser broke. In their defense, it looked like they were doing some remodeling to maybe fix some of that.
