Enjoyed our stay
Liked: The property was decent. The exterior is in need of some curb appeal and it looks like it?s a work in progress but having shutters on the ground just looked bad at first. I used to manage apartment communities and it?s one of those things that if picked up from the ground until it can be fixed, it will make the grounds look at least a little better. Exterior patio furniture is super cute and looks cozy though, I just didn?t get to enjoy it.You can tell it?s an older hotel but the interior is getting better. They are working on installing an elevator which takes a lot of construction but we didn?t hear any construction going on while we were there or see any constructors. There was a plumber and our hot water was off around 9:30pm but it didn?t affect us that late (no reasoning as to why). The hallways and stairs all had new carpet which was appreciated and looks and feels very nice especially in the rooms. The wallpaper in the hallways/rooms was a bit rough so I hope they didn?t choose to keep that item during the remodel to do other things. If they do, the person cleaning the room, really needs to check the walls to make sure there isn?t stuff on them. Our room had sticky stuff on the wall and the desk (nothing Lysol wipes couldn?t take care of). Our bathroom could have been cleaner, there was hair behind the toilet but the cleaning guy was more than willing to clean it and give us extras of everything when I asked him to help. I wouldn?t say this is a drawback as things happen when your cleaning a lot of room.Breakfast was probably the most amazing aspect of the hotel. We had two kids who are picky so the variety was amazing. In the hot section they had eggs, bacon and potatoes, the next day was egg omelets (which were surprisingly good), sausage patties and potatoes, and this morning was biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage links..

Liked: Its being renovated. Nice TV in the room if you?re hear to watch TV all day. Next to a strip mall if you?re looking for a space to lease because it?s almost empty. Next to AMC theatre if you want to come to Holland to see a movie.
Disliked: The street address only brings you to the development and not the property behind the development. We went back and forth looking for it. The description doesn?t say its under renovation/ construction. The building had an emergency with no water for a couple of hours right on prime time where guests are getting back to the hotel and ready for the evening. Its in the City Center but away from the Tourists Attractions if you?re from out of town and sight seeing. The rooms and the facilities are outdated.

Huge lack of sleep due...
Liked: Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Bathroom was moldy and walls were thin. I could hear everything in rooms next to us above us, and in the hall.

Liked: Beds were very comfortable. We like that the pool was open until midnight but the water was cold. Breakfast was good also, many choices.
Disliked: Drove by it on 120th street SEVERAL times even when our gps took us to the drive. Poor sign, couldn?t read it until we had already turned in. Very frustrating! The person at the desk said it was a corporate decision to have the sign sooo small.

Liked: The place is under renovation, but the nee rooms are beautiful.
Disliked: Booking did not send our reservation. The front desk staff quickly worked around it and got us set. There was lack of coverage for breakfast so food was slow to get refilled, but if that is the worst problem for an included breakfast, I'll take it.
