Describe my stay? Don't. Book...

Liked: Not a lot
Disliked: Hotel is dated - interior decor, amenities and furniture look like a job lot from a 1970's surplus sale. Apparently there is building work being done on the property (?) which would explain the missing skirtings and panels plus exposed behind-walls in the reception area and other places. Stair carpets and carpets in the halls are dirty, stained and in need of a good clean. The bedroom had an aircon unit from when they were invented and a small noisy fridge from the same era with bedroom furniture that would embarrass your elderly grandmother. Thoughtfully, some debris and rubbish from previous guests was left under it. The bed was big and surprisingly not too uncomfortable but the pillows were cheap and flimsy, the bedcover had several stains, 2 of the towels in the 70's Scandi-flick style bathroom were threadbare in places, the shower over the chipped bath was the same as Hitchcock used in the shower scene from 'Psycho' (including the shower curtain) plus it sloped dangerously towards the drain and was so slippery when wet that it would test the skills of Torvill and Dean when on ice. Breakfast was included but they should really pay you money to eat it. To say that the hotel is low-rent would be an insult to ultra-budget hotels except they charge half the price...

Disliked: The staff was not very friendly - it seemed like they were preoccupied and had somewhere else to be. No one ever acknowledged me, said hello or have a nice day when I walked by them at the front desk and when they did converse it was very short and quick.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the location was close to my business.
Disliked: 1) The plug to the bathroom sink was down and unattached, so we had to use our fingers to get it out. It came all the way out with it not being attached and was covered with disgusting stuff and hair. We didn't put it back in due to us not having a way to get it back out. 2) The door handle to the bathroom door would come off if you tried to close it.3) There was a constant drumming and vibrating in our room. It sounded like it was coming from something above us.4) When we mentioned all of this to the front desk, their response was "Well we will be going through a total remodel". Not an apology or an offer to refund our room.5) The young lady who checked us in on Friday, 3/8/24 was terrific and very personable.

Liked: Very affordable. We very much liked their breakfast.
Disliked: I think the reason it was so affordable, is because it was under construction. Nothing on Booking.com, or the hotels website indicate it was under construction. The pool was closed and that is one reason we chose this hotel was for the pool. They accidentally gave a room to someone else, and had to get the “manager” involved to find us a room that would fit her family. The “manager” may have dropped some cuss words in front of us during the process. Not us, but in front of us, but I’m entirely unprofessional. The lady checking us in originally was very nice and professional. Our room was clean, but they put us in the hallway with a lot of construction debris. This is a little thing, but the handle continually kept falling off our bathroom door.
