Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Grandville-Grand Rapids West MI

Disliked: Dirty; outdated; unsettling and overall disgusting hotel. Rooms very dirty; air conditioning did not work; sewage leak in the lobby. The only bright spot was there was a Sleep Number bed - but it was broken!

I enjoyed my stay, though the breakfast could have used a few more options. The choices were almost entirely bread-based, and I was looking for more options. They had apples, but the two I ate weren't very good. Could have used some eggs, or sausage, or ham.

Liked: Close to Pinnacle Center.
Disliked: Breakfast had limited choices.

Liked: staff was very nice
Disliked: the room had bad stains on the carpet and the first room we were supposed to stay in was not even cleaned by the staff

Disliked: bedding was not cleaned up and I asked to have the bedding changed it never happened

Disappointed

Liked: The hotel is located close to expressway.
Disliked: It wasn’t very well kept. The bones are good but it was dirty and unkept, dead plants and dust bunnies in the lobby, the pool was cloudy and still, hot tub broken, breakfast and coffee were poor quality. Just not up to usual standards for this brand of hotel.

Disliked: Small repairs that were half done in the rooms, shower was either dirty or stained

Exceptional

Liked: I love the location. The staff was amazing and the rooms looked pretty updated.
Disliked: I don't like that. The hot tub was closed after I called and was confirmed the day before that, it was open only to find out when I got there that it's been closed for a few months.

Liked: Breakfast was awful. We got there at 9:15 am. Eggs were terrible. Sausage was hard & cold. Pastry was terrible. Coffee was mediocre. I should have just had tea. There were bananas that were perfect. Some other people had problems with the waffle batter being watery.
