Disliked: Dirty; outdated; unsettling and overall disgusting hotel. Rooms very dirty; air conditioning did not work; sewage leak in the lobby. The only bright spot was there was a Sleep Number bed - but it was broken!

I enjoyed my stay, though the breakfast could have used a few more options. The choices were almost entirely bread-based, and I was looking for more options. They had apples, but the two I ate weren't very good. Could have used some eggs, or sausage, or ham.
Liked: Close to Pinnacle Center.
Disliked: Breakfast had limited choices.

Close to highway but needs...
Liked: Location to highway
Disliked: Close to freight train line - train horns blow about 3AM Sun morning. Another train about 30-45 mins later with the horns blaring. Seemed run down- a/c was old & loud, bed worn - king bed had two dips/craters which made it uncomfortable. Carpets need replacing, worn and appear dirty.

Very good
Disliked: The breakfast selection was poor. No fresh fruit. Foods high in sugar and fat content including sugar loaded packets of oatmeal and flavored yogurt.

Clean but falling apart
Liked: Clean, breakfast had real eggs on Saturday, easy access to everything, staff super helpful and friendly
Disliked: Maintenance men are apparently non-existent, toilet paper holder, door latches, cabinets all poorly maintained

Charged twice for same room
Liked: The room was fine. However, I paid Booking for the room and the property charged me as well. I noticed this a few days after returning home and checking my visa statement to make sure the $50 deposit charge the hotel told me about was removed. I didn't see the $50 charge, instead I learned the hotel charged me $111.51 even though I already paid Booking that amount. When I tried calling the hotel ( twice) the phone rang and rang without answer. Then I called Choice Hotels because Country Inn and Suites is owned (or managed?) by Choice. A customer service rep there told me there was nothing she could do yo help me and referred me back to Booking. Will not stay there again or any hotel under Choice again. Rip off!
